ABOUT
Thoughtcraft is the work of creative chap, George Hadley.
I’ve worked both directly with clients and for design studios in London, Melbourne and Brighton.
At home presenting to clients, buried in a sketchbook or collaborating with a team – I'm a versatile creative who enjoys all facets and stages of the process of bringing concepts to life.
My mother was a nurse and my father an actor – I like to think I bring those caring and playful qualities together in the work I do.
Working together
Adaptable depending on your needs...
Creative consultant – Micro agency when you need an experienced creative.
Specialist team - Need a wider offering without larger studio overheads? I can put together a bespoke team of specialists from my black book of experts including animators, copywriters, designers, photographers, strategists, web developers and more.
Independent creative - working alongside your permanent creative team when you need someone who combines strategic thinking and craftsmanship.
APPROACH
There’s no one size fits all process, every challenge is unique. But there is a rigorous structure which helps leave no stone unturned…
4D creativity:
> Discovery (Background research, workshops, competitor/audience analysis)
> Design (Conceptual thinking, idea creation and refining)
> Development (Revisiting and refining)
> Delivery (Creating final design assets and guides)
EXPERIENCE
I’m a big believer in the strength of the outside perspective, going deep into research (method acting style). My speciality is the way I work rather than a focus on a specific sector. Developing a strong understanding of clients, their challenges and their audiences, but not being limited or weighed down by what’s gone before.
From exhibition design for a Victorian photographer, annual reports for property developers, identities for start ups, design system for a children's comic, to packaging design for sports nutrition company, it’s fair to say my creative experience has been broad.
Client experience includes: Alstom, ARISF, Arvon Foundation, Balfour Beatty, Bouygues, British Land, Carluccio’s, Change Grow Live, D&AD, Dunhill, GAIL’s, IOC, Land Securities, London Art Fair, Mothercare, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Pringle of Scotland, Rapha, Sightsavers, Sir Robert McAlpine, Somerset House, Stadler, Study Group, Tate Britain, The Fine Cheese Company, Unesco, University of Winchester…
Studio experience includes: 400 Communications, &Smith Design, Baxter and Bailey, Blue Edge, BOB Design, CDT Design, Cornwell Design, Harrison Agency, Here Design, Liquid Studio, Net Natives, Playing Field, Salter Baxter, Sherlock, Studio Texture, Them Studio, Together Design...
